Vidarbha Ayurved Mahavidyalaya

      Shree Hanuman Vyayam Prasarak Mandal has undertaken the management of Vidarbha Ayurved Mahavidyalaya, Amravati from 15th Nov.1989. The Mandal has spent more than Rs. 30,000,00.00 (Thirty lacs) to uplift this college till this date.

      Now Vidarbha Ayurved Mahavidyalaya has become one of the leading ideal colleges in Maharashtra with its 200 beds hospital and well equipped departments, operation theatre and library. The occupied beds are 160 to 175 and 250 to 300 outdoor patients are treated daily.

    The College owns a well equiped Operation - Theatre. The Mandal intends to develop research in Ayurved on scientific lines. The Post Graduate courses leading to M.D.and M.S. in subjects like ENT, Medicine, Surgery & Health and Hygiene started from the session 1992-93.

    The facilities of the college & Hospital are freely available to the students of other Colleges & Departments of Shree Hanuman Vyayam Prasarak Mandal.

Courses conducted by the college are:

• Bachelor of Ayurved Medicine Surgery (B.A.M.S.)

The exams of this course are conducted by Maharashtra Health Science University, Nasik. During the internship the student receives stipend.

Duration: 4 and 1/2 year college & 1 year internship i.e. total 5 and 1/2 year.
Minimum Qualification: 10+2 (Science) and Preliminary Medical Test   passed.
Admission Criteria: The admission process is conducted by Maharashtra Government.

The exams of this course are conducted by Maharashtra Health Science University, Nasik.

Duration: 3 Years.
Minimum Qualification: B.A.M.S. passed.
Admission Criteria: Since 1993 the admission process is conducted by Maharashtra Government. The admissions will be given according to the merit list.
Marks requirement: 40% for all reserved category,  45% for open.
Fees : 11,000/-
Age Limit: Above 22 Years.

       Shree Hanuman Vyayam Prasarak Mandal runs a nature cure centre under the Institute of Yoga & Naturopathy, with the aims and objectives to awaken the people about natural healthy living and to spread yogic practices along with Nature cure centre. Shree Hanuman Vyayam Prasarak Mandal laid the foundation of Institute of Yoga & Naturopathy in its campus in 1990. Working in an efficient manner this institute is moving ahead daily on path of progress.

       Naturopathy believes " All healing powers are within the human body". It therefore, helps the human system to remove the cause of disease i.e. toxins, by expelling the unwanted matter from the body for curing the disease.
